Tornado Heifer Takes Midsummer Shows By Storm

Hunnington Fragrance 55

One of the first daughters to calve by Young Bull Proving Scheme graduate CASTERN TORNADO, Hunnington Fragrance 55 swept all before her to win Interbreed  Heifer Champion at Oswestry Show and Reserve Interbreed Heifer Champion at Nantwich, the UK's leading one day show with six dairy breeds forward. This super young heifer is one of three to calve in the Hunnington herd and are according to their owner Chris Window  "like peas in a pod".


Hunnington Fragy 12

CSA sires monopolized the entries at Nantwich Show siring all bar two of the cattle forward and culminating  in Hunnington Fragy 12 (Sire: HUNNINGTON BBK EASLAD) being awarded Supreme Interbreed Champion. Oswestry show also proved to be a successful hunting ground for Fragy 12 where she again was Supreme Interbreed Champion.

Honiton Show.
A great show of Ayrshires with 30 cattle forward from seven exhibitors. Judge Mr. R. Hair awarded the Championship to East Church Nelson Rosetta (Sire: MCCORNICK NELSON). This most attractive newly calved heifer, correct and full of style was bred by Mark Evans and exhibited by her new owners Mr and Mrs Stuart Perry, recently joined members of our society, with this as yet being the only Ayrshire in their Holstein herd.
